Hello there! This is Mateo De la Hoz. Welcome to this brief "whoami".
I'm currently studying, living and working in somewhere at Spain 🇪🇸!
I primarily focus into building highly performant, highly available, and scalable
backend applications for the enterprise sector in several programming languages and stacks.
I'm passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems and deliver exceptional results.
Oh, and yes, it looks like I also know how to make websites, though I don't like frontend. 👻
Apart from my experience in software development, I have a strong background on
Linux System Administration, Database Management, Security Research and SRE auditing.
On my free time, I used to work on developing and reversing (performing reverse engineering) on
mobile phones and embedded platforms with Huawei devices (Kirin 980 and lower) and as well
some Tensilica(TM) Xtensa(R) powered platforms such as the Espressif(TM) ESP32.
For Huawei devices, I've developed software to perform bootloader unlocking, TEE-context
tampering and many other fun things with HiSilicon(TM)'s bootroms...
And for those who still spam me, please stop asking for Huawei's Widevine CDM L1 keys :(
For Xtensa-powered platforms, I have engineered a considerable amount of IoT projects, just
for fun, like this one...

This is the first large-scale project I've been a part of, from
its startup days to its current position as an enterprise.
Throughout this time, I
have been
responsible for developing and maintaining several tools, while also overseeing
the infrastructure.
To stay up-to-date with the latest development strategies, I

Currently, I am leading the tech team in the development of cutting-edge technologies and

Skidbladnir Kirin RA
This is an ongoing, personal project involving multiple skills.
Currently on
Development since 2021, this is a HiSilicon Kirin mobile servicing tool, supporting most of
the devices, which allows you to service, customize, upgrade, recover, and unlock Huawei
devices that are supposed to be non-unlockable.
WIP is being done for an UI dashboard
for the tool.
Futonlinesa
This was a midterm freelance project about a FIFA Ultimate Team non-official coin trading
platform.
This project sold about 5M EUR worth in FUT coins using this platform to
several customers around the globe around 2019-2020, and resulted in almost 3.5M EUR in
revenue.
Discontinued in Q4 2020 with the launch of FIFA 21.
